Pricing & quotes

How much does a system cost?
Less than the $5,599+ that comparable complete systems get pitched for elsewhere. Your exact number depends on your home and this month's promotion — call or text and you'll have today's price in writing within minutes. Financing available on approved credit.
Why don't you publish your exact price online?
Two honest reasons. First, our promo pricing changes monthly — a number printed here would be wrong half the time. Second, systems are sized to your home, so "one price fits all" is how the industry overcharges small homes and underbuilds big ones. What we promise instead: the quote takes one quick call, it comes in writing, and it holds — even if you sit on it for a month. No "today-only" pressure, ever.
Is the quote binding?
Yes. The written number is what you pay. The only thing that changes it is a genuine change in scope — say, your plumbing needs work we couldn't see — and if that happens, you get a new written number to approve before we touch anything.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, on approved credit. The price is the same whether you pay cash or finance — financing is a convenience, not a markup.
Does my city or ZIP change the price?
No. Vancouver, Camas, Battle Ground — same treatment, same pricing. Well homes are quoted after a free well test because wells genuinely vary; that's about your water, not your address.
What do quotes and water tests cost?
Nothing, ever. Not as a promotion — as policy.

Process & installation

Do I need to be home for the quote?
No. The quote happens by phone or text. The only time we come out is to install — and to run the free tap test that confirms sizing before we start.
How fast can you install?
Usually the same week as your quote. Most installs take about half a day, and we walk you through everything before we leave.
Where does the equipment go?
The softener and filtration go where your main water line enters — usually the garage or a utility area. The reverse osmosis unit tucks under the kitchen sink with its own faucet on the counter.
What happens to my old equipment?
We haul it away as part of the install. No extra charge, no rusty tank left in your driveway.

Equipment & maintenance

How often do I add salt?
Typically every 4–8 weeks depending on household size and water use. Our softeners regenerate based on metered usage — not a timer — so they use meaningfully less salt and water than older units.
What maintenance does the reverse osmosis unit need?
A filter change about once a year — it's a five-minute job and your first year of filters is included with the Genuine Complete. We'll show you how, or handle it for you.
What does the lifetime warranty actually cover?
The equipment — tank and valve on softeners, and NSF-certified components throughout. It's registered in writing before our van leaves your driveway, and our workmanship is guaranteed on top of it: if our install ever leaks, we fix it.
What does "NSF-certified" mean?
NSF International is an independent testing body for water treatment components. It's a certification you can look up yourself — not a badge we invented. We use NSF-certified components because third-party proof beats our word.

Water quality

Is Vancouver's city water safe to drink?
Yes — it's disinfected, tested, and the results are published. We won't tell you otherwise, because scaring people is the other guys' business model. What city water is: hard on your plumbing and appliances, chlorinated for taste, and not filtered for things like PFAS at your tap. Our systems are an upgrade, not a rescue.
Do I actually need a water softener?
Many Clark County homes test between 7–10.5 grains per gallon — officially "hard" — and hard water shortens water heater life and crusts up fixtures. But some homes are fine. The test is free, and if yours is one of them, we'll tell you and leave.
What about PFAS?
PFAS ("forever chemicals") have been detected in some local sources, and state testing is ongoing. Reverse osmosis is one of the few residential treatments that addresses PFAS at the tap — it's why the RO unit is part of our complete system. More in our Water 101 article.
My well water smells like rotten eggs. Fixable?
Yes — that's hydrogen sulfide, and it's one of the most common well complaints in Battle Ground and Brush Prairie. The fix depends on concentration, which is why every well job starts with a free full test. See our well water guide.
